I love curry like most of the other Japanese people.
I love the Japanese curry to cook at home and also the Indian curry to eat at restaurant.
Those are totally different two kinds of curry.
And there is a favorite Indian curry restaurant in Tokyo.
I had been wanting to go there again, and finally I got to go the other day with my husband.
It's at Ginza, and the name of the restaurant is "NAIR'S RESTAURANT".
Click here for the specific place of this restaurant.
It's an old restaurant that's been popular and famous for a long time.
It means that you will have to wait in line after 12:00pm.
So, we went in at 11:30am.
We still had to wait for a few minutes to be seated, but got seats on the 2nd floor.
There is a menu like this, but "Murgh curry lunch" is their most famous one.
At lunch time most of the customers is eating the same curry.
"Murgh" means chicken in Hindi, and it's 1,500yen.
1,500yen is a bit high for a lunch, but it's worth it.
It looks like this at first.
And the waiter will take out the chicken bone for you in front of you.
The chicken meat is so soft that he can take out the bone easily and quickly with a knife and a fork.
It has turmeric rice, curry, seasoned cabbage and mushed potate underneath.
And you're supposed to mix them well as you eat because the cabbage and potato will make the curry milder and perfect.
I've been to several Indian curry restaurants, and this is the best for me.
I also love curry with nan bread, but this curry with rice is my best favorite for a long time.
Ginza is not a place I can go so often, but when I do, I always want to go NAIR'S for this plate of Indian curry.
It's spicy but not too hot, and the balance is just sooooooooooo perfect.
This is one of the restaurant you MUST go if you're in Japan!
I mean it.
