I believe that it's one of the greatest innovations in Japan which contribute the quality of our daily life.
This medicine has over a century of history.

It's SEIROGAN.

It was originally developed in 1902.
And I have never run it out at my parents house or at my own house.

Its main ingredient is "Wood Creosote" and the bactericidal effect of "Wood Creosote" was found in 1830 in Germany.

Whenver I have stomach ache or any problem with my stomach or bowel, I take this and lay down for a little while.
And I have never had pain which cannot be removed with this medicine.

As you might know, the regular Seirogan has such a unique and strong smell.
I believe that most of the Japanese people can tell it's the smell of Seirogan once they smell it.
Its smell is so strong that it's even a bit annoying.

So, I mainly use sugarcoated Seirogan.
Specifically saying, they say the ingredients are a little different from regular Seirogan, but I've never felt the difference as I actually dose them.

I bring this sugarcoated Seirogan when I go to over-night trip.
I even have some tablets in my work bag so that I can take them when I have stomach ache anywhere.
It's like something that makes me feel secured wherever I go.

By the way, even it's coated with sugar, it's got the same Seirogan inside.
So you can smell it from your stomach when you burp after the dose.

However, I sometimes get regular Seirogan only for home use.
Its smell is so strong that I wouldn't dose them outside, but at home even the smell is a part of its efficacy.
When I smell its unique odor, I feel like it eases my pain somehow.

If you are new to Seirogan, I definitely recommend to start with the sugarcoated one.
But once you're used to it, you should try the regular one as well.

It has English indications as well, so no worries.
